Dubai Travel Guide

Dubai which is also known as The shopping capital of Middle East or The emerald city is a city trapped between the old and the new. A place in a conservative culture with old-world customs while at the same time a Middle-Eastern Vegas where anything goes. I was surprised at how much there was to do in this city — and how even in a week I was still left longing for more. This blog will help you to make a perfect travel itinerary if you plan to travel to Middle East.

Explore Burj Khalifa:

Burj Khalifa has been the tallest building in the world since 2009. It is one of the major tourist attraction in Dubai. It is recommended to visit the world’s tallest building at evening in order to witness the breath-taking fountain shows and the laser shows. So if wanna go to Burj Khalifa I would recommend you to go to Dubai Mall first and then you can go to the last floor of the world’s tallest building to see the view of the whole city. After seeing the view you can witness the Fountain show and laser show leisurely near the lake. Also if you want to spend watching the laser show privately you can book a yacht from where you can see the laser show on the Burj Khalifa.

Hit the mall:

Malls in Dubai are not like malls anywhere else in the world. There are over 65 malls in the city with more on the way. People love going to malls here! Between the Dubai Mall and Mall of the Emirates, you’ll find a ton of amazing things to see and do. There’s luxury shopping, nightly fountain shows, an aquarium inside the Dubai Mall (which has a 270-degree underwater tunnel you can walk through), and even indoor skiing at the Mall of the Emirates (the Mall of the Emirates also has over 650 stores and 100 restaurants). You can also visit the world’s largest themed mall, the Ibn- Battuta Mall. It has a Moroccan theme and is named after the eponymous explorer (it has over 270 stores and 50 restaurants too).

Road Trip to Abu Dhabi:

Abu Dhabi is famous for its industries, studios, theme parks, mosque and its palace. Specifically I would suggest anyone who travels to Abu Dhabi to go to the famous Sheikh Zayed Mosque. It is the largest mosque in UAE. The mosque is large enough to accommodate over 40,000 worshippers, while the main prayer hall can hold over 7,000. There are two smaller prayer halls, with a capacity of 1,500 each, one of which is the women's prayer hall.  Also one can find a tour guide who will show around the entire mosque even you will gain access to the restricted area of the mosque if you explore it with the help of a tour guide. The next best place to witness in Abu Dhabi is Qasar Al Watan Palace. With a façade made of white granite and limestone, the mainly white palace is intricately designed and ornately decorated. It includes a dome with a diameter of 37 m (121 ft), a chandelier with 350,000 pieces of crystal, and a number of compartments. The dome is located on top of the central chamber known as "The Great Hall", which is surrounded by two wings to the east and west. I would recommend everyone to visit these places during sunset if you don’t want to miss the light shows in palace.
